Saleem Altaf has come out swining after a weekend where Danish Kaneria bowled an amazing 134 over in two championship games for Essex in the English county championship. Altaf has reasons to be protective of his star bowler, because Kaneria was key to Pakistan's performances in India and the West Indies. The upcoming England tour in Pakistan will also require Danish at his wily, spinning best. Ronnie Irani the Essex captain is intimating that Essex is bowling Kaneria this much for his own good as spinners need to get into the groove!
