Miandad upset with the ECB

After the refusal of the ECB to play a test match in cricket, Javed Miandad has let loose sharp criticism of the ECB and the PCB in capitulating to the ECB. Despite assurances from the Pakistani government and the PCB, the ECB has refused to play a test match in the largest city in Pakistan: Karachi. In a further hypocritical turn of events, after the tragic loss of life in London, a situation which was clearly extremely terrifying, both the ECB and the ACB were ok with and pushed to continue to play the NatWest trophy out in London. This is meritorious and commendable, due to the solidarity it shows with the people of London in this tragic time. Yet Karachi is being treated as a second class city by being denied a test match. The PCB must pay heed to Miandad and push for an acceptable resolution to this problem.
