This is a neatly written article that highlights some major issues with Shoaib... 144 wickets in 36 tests... Imran Khan had the same number at the same tests, at 4 more runs... yet he was someone Pakistan could rely on day in and day out. Shoaib is not that player. Pakistan has to learn to win with him and win without him. He cannot be left out as a weapon when fit, because he is just too damn good. He cannot be counted as a card in the pocket because he is just too damn unpredictable.
