I've always been a fan of Shahid Afridi, but what is clear is that he is an asset and a key member of the Pakistan squad. A team that was good in the third test and the first two ODIs became dominant in the third ODI. When Afridi came to the wicket, Pakistan was well positioned at 188-3 off 33 overs. When Afridi left 4 overs later, Pakistan was in a dominant position. In 14 deliveries he smacked 31, with 3 fours and 2 sixes. He began the cavalcade which Inzamam and Razzaq continued with resounding success. If that had been all he did, it would have been enough. He went on to bowl to a score of 2-42 off 10 overs, and take a catch of Shoaib Malik to finish off England.
Afridi is a difference-maker. Lets not let him go again.
