Women's Asia Cup underway, SL beat Pak

The opening match of the Asia Cup for Women was held at the National Stadium in Karachi. In front of a small crowd, Pakistan fought hard against a far more experienced and internationally savvy Sri Lanka team, but ended up losing by 14 runs. Pakistan played well to limit Sri Lanka to 178 off 50 overs, but were dismissed for 165. Well played.
