HAs the injury bug hit Shoaib again? Seems like the chronic ankle issue, which Shoaib has been fiddling with in every test match is creeping up again. One hopes he will be able to play in the third test, as it appears this will be the first time in the series that a wicket has enough bite for 40 wickets to potentially fall in 5 days. Only time will tell of course, but Pakistan will be very unfortunate if they lose their best bowler for the deciding match of the series.
Much is being made of his two wickets in this series, but lets just remember the absolute placidity of the pitch. He has bowled well at times, and has been probing and penetrative, albeit unrewarded. Hopefully he will be there!
