The hero is now a dud? Isn't that just how Pakistani cricket works. Just three weeks after Inzamam was painted as the saviour of Pakistani cricket, now suddenly he is the biggest burden on this squad. This really is the height of silliness. This article leads as a litany against Inzamam, and talks about replacing him as the ODI captain, and how Woolmer and Shaharyar Khan have also, secretly, been looking at replacing him.
Lets give this all a break. The entire team was a let down, not just Inzamam's captaincy. We need to stop trying to find scapegoats and remember that Inzamam is the man who lead this team from 5th in the ODI rankings in June to as high as 3rd before this past series. Inzamam for WC 2007 Captain!
