Shoaib Akhtar to go under the knife

Well, this time no one can question Shoaib's injuries. It appears that Shoaib Akhtar will undergo arthroscopic surgery on both knees to remove bone spurs. These are likely the result of a chronic degenerative arthritis of the knees, and really this may not bode well for Shoaib's long term bowling prospects.
