Shoaib Malik operation done

Shoaib Malik's operation is done in South Africa. From every description I can read, it appears to be no different than an arthroscopy, with removal of a bony fragment. How this can improve his bowling action, and allow him to bowl the doosra again, I am not sure. However, this may fix his pain related problems and hopefully allow him a longer and fruitful career.
