Interesting comments from the PCB.
Firstly, the PCB feels that there isn't an opening problem with the team, specially with Imran Farhat, Salman Butt and Shoaib Malik.
Then, they've appointed Zaheer Abbas and Mohsin Khan as managers for the regular and A squad respectively. Interesting that Mohsin Khan is slowly being brought into the fold, given his previous complete lack of experience.
The PCB also asked the team management to ensure a consistent selection policy. This is felt to be consistent with preparation for the upcoming World Cup. I agree with this as well, specially as multiple players and combinations have been tried over the last few years.
The PCB also kinda, sorta played like Nero and played the fiddle, and refused to come to a decision regarding the central contracts. They really need to come to a quick decision over this, to have a good and relaxed squad head to England for a long and challenging series.
