While Pakistani cricket has been faced with a number of challenges in the past, the challenges on this trip appear almost mind boggling. First the entire pace attack is decimated with Shoaib Akhtar, Rana Naved and Mohammad Asif injured in one way or another, and then the loss of a key part of the team, Shoaib Malik. Now we are beginning to hear that even Abdul Razzaq may not be able to play in the second test.
This is not going to be easy going for Pakistan, specially with the rumours that the pitch at Old Trafford may indeed be a pacey one.
