Pakistan, fielding an unchanged side despite many rumours to the contrary, safely, if unspectacularly, reached 263 for 4 at the second test in Multan. Bolstered by a steady start of 83 by Hafeez (36) and Imran Farhat (74), Pakistan capitalized on that, and Younis and Yousuf put on their, now almost routine, 87 run stand for the 3rd wicket. Good show for the first day.
