Asif Iqbal and the PCB?

Interesting story from Dawn, about Asif Iqbal. It appears that the PCB might be considering offering Asif Iqbal a relatively senior position within their new hierarchy. While he has been quiet active over the past few years in writing columns in various publications regarding Pakistan's cricket performances, his role in cricket has been up for debate over the past many years. First there were the allegations of improprietry with the Cricket Benefit Fund Series in Sharjah, and then the tabloid stories about match fixing. Hard to say what is true and what is not, but the PCB should think twice as it tries to move away from allegations and accusations of nepotism and shady hiring practices.
