Inzamam turned down for Shabbir?

It appears that the Shabbir Ahmed situation, like most things in Pakistani cricket was mixed in with politics. It appears that the PCB turned down Inzamam's request for Shabbir Ahmed. While fitness may have been an issue, is it more politics or what? Who is to say.
