Azhar Mahmood to South Africa

I can't even pretend that I'm happy that Azhar Mahmood is replacing Shabbir Ahmed in South Africa. In the past, I've made many comments about Azhar Mahmood's place in the squad, and lets just say I don't think he has one. He isn't even in the thirty probables for the World Cup, and there are bowlers like Samiullah Niazi and Rao Iftikhar, and even Yasir Arafat, a fairly accomplished all-rounder in his own right. There is also Fawad Alam who is flirting with a call-up over the past few months. Could someone please explain, why Azhar Mahmood.
