Does the PCB even want credibility?

Somehow, everytime I decide that the PCB will not, shall not, cannot bewilder me, they go ahead and do it. Unless a whole bunch of people have forgotten, it was just 3 months ago that the PCB, under Dr. Ashraf, held a major seminar about the challenges facing cricket in Pakistan. And it was at this seminar, that a number of these past "superstars" were not invited. Javed Miandad, Imran Khan and Wasim Akram to name a few. And now, Dr. Ashraf is asking Wasim Akram, Javed Miandad, Intikhab Alam, Zaheer Abbas, Hanif Mohammad and Mushtaq Mohammad to come to the training camp and speak to the players. If they were that wanted and welcome, where were they during the seminar? If legends and ex-players are to be held in such high esteem, why was Waqar Younis let go? If only someone could answer these questions.

And in other news, the PCB makes things even more chaotic by making it public, that they don't have any idea where Asif and Shoaib are, only 3 days before the conditioning camp starts. Further, to add more fuel to the fire, there are threats that the players might be dropped if they don't get appropriately tested for steroids, meaning that there is some concern that these two might not show up to be tested. What a gong show our wonderful cricket administrators seem to be running. Creating chaos where only anarchy need exist. May God help us all.
