Younis and a donkey

Younis Khan had an interesting welcome to Karachi yesterday. He flew in from London, and was welcomed by a group of angry fans, one of whom wanted to take Younis around Karachi on a donkey, much like the poor King in Kingdom of Heaven! Younis didn't take kindly to the comments, and in fact it appears he challenged the person making the comment by saying: who will make me sit on a donkey! While some could applaud Younis for such a "manly response" , I wonder how this speaks to his ability to lead the team as his name keeps getting bandied about for the position of captain.

Further, how much more stupid can the PCB get! They know how the players are going to respond, yet they still let Younis Khan land in Karachi with no security support at all. They could have arranged for Younis to exit the airport from a private exit or in a multitude of other ways. Yet, Nasim Ashraf was probably sitting in Islamabad enjoying high tea at the Pakistani tax payers expense. Much too busy to deal with minor things like player security.
