In an interesting display of Yousuf's personal religious development, he has declined to participate in a media campaign by PCB's sponsors Mobilink. While Yousuf can do what he chooses to, and if he finds photography unacceptable as a Muslim, power to him to make that individual choice. What I find irritating is the statement by the PCB, where the said that this was because of Yousuf's religious beliefs. What business does the PCB have in making that statement? As far as they are concerned, Yousuf declined to participate. If Mohammad Yousuf so chooses, he can say whatever he wants, but that wouldn't fit with the PCB's new attitude, even if it was in Urdu.
