Jamaica Test Day 3 in Kingston

Pakistan and the West Indies are locked in a dogfight. Pakistan, at the end of the third day has reached 223-4 in their second innings. With a lead of 193 runs, Pakistan is still another 150 runs short of a reasonable total.

Shoaib Malik and Yasir Hameed put on a serviceable 66 for the first wicket, with Shoaib Malik hitting a career high 64, with 8 blistering fours. Collymore seems to be on a blitzkrieg after the 7 wickets in the first inning, taking 3 more in the second. There was specifically a devestating sequence of deliveries where he had Malik caught behind, Asim lbw and then Inzamam dropped of a somewhat difficult, but still regulation catch. Inzamam went on to punish the West Indies to score 64 not out at the end of the day. Younis Khan was dismissed after a typically stolid 43, just thirty minutes before the end of day. Afridi and Inzy better dig in if Pakistan is to have a chance of taking this test match. A result is definitely in the cards here.
