The starting XI is finally a reasonable one. Shoaib Malik & Salman Butt to start, Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Inzamam-ul-Haq to bat, Shahid Afridi as the all rounder, with Kamran Akmal behind the wicket, and Sami, Shoaib, Naved, and Danesh bringing up the scarily long tail.
This lineup gives the same batting depth as before, but adds another bowler in Afridi to the mix. Lets not be mistaken. Afridi is a matchwinner, no two bones about it.
