Loose lips at the PCB?

Here is more ammunition in the pitch saga. Now, an unnamed official at the PCB has said that the pitch was such a dud, on the explicit request of Inzamam. It just appears strange that Inzamam would be ok with playing the England bowlers on a set of bouncy wickets, who would have been better suited to exploit such a kind of wicket, while he would want more dull wickets with the Indian bowlers, when their pacers don't even necessarily scare Zimbabwe.
