In a fairly articulate and well written article for The News, Inzamam fights back against many of the detractors who are blaming him for the placid pitch in Lahore. In a fairly articulate and well written article, which makes reasonable mention of Pakistna's cricketing history, Inzamam gives a reasonable rationale for what is happening.
One cannot hold Inzamam responsible for this. The PCB needs to find someone who can be an effective curator for wickets in Pakistan. Test wickets are different from ODIs and need more preparation and forethought. Understanding of local soil conditions and weather is but part of the many things a curator has to be aware of. Well done Inzamam, to fight back.
