Inzamam speaks in his diary!

With limited public comments, Inzamam comes out in his diary on bigstarcricket.com. He makes a point about saying that Shoaib Akhtar has played limited cricket over the last year, and that is the reason why he has to "prove himself" again.

If I was Shoaib, this would bother me a great deal. How can Inzamam ask someone of the calibre of Shoaib, who has been playing cricket at the highest level over ten years to "prove himself". Regain fitness yes, but "prove himself"? We're not talking about a newbie walking off the street, playing for the first time that he has to prove himself. Everyone knows what Shoabi Akhtar is capable of, when he is on song. Regrettable remarks by Inzamam.

By the way, in this post, Inzamam also says that Australia will now not be the force they were, with Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne retiring. I'll believe that when I see it!
