Moin Khan scandal

Pakistan's former captain and wicket-keeper, Moin Khan has run afoul of his wife and the law. The charges, which appear to be factual, are heinous and awful. Abuse is an under-reported and devestating problem in Pakistani society, and all credit to Moin's wife for having the courage to report this to the police. I hope this will serve as a lesson to women from our society, and our part of the world, to stand up for themselves and not to take such treatment quietly. It is an act forbidden and condemned by all civilized society and Islam.
