It was bound to happen! Now the Pakistani players are beginning to become true capitalists. Given their interest in seeking money for all interviews they provide from now on, it appears that cricket is perhaps becoming more professional than even the professional leagues in North America. Even the NBA/NHL/Major League Baseball and even the Premier soccer leagues across Europe have rules which require players to give media interviews.
Refusing to give media interviews may make the players some extra money, but it is something which is definitely bad for the game. Perhaps the players should seek sponsorship in other areas.
