Pakistan literally and figuratively threw away the fourth ODI. Plagued by injuries to Akhtar, Afridi and Gul, Pakistan were a little but behind the eight-ball, but decided to just throw the game away.
After falling to 29-4, once again a semblance of stability was needed, but Yousuf, Farhat and Razzaq continued to be cavalier when what was needed was staying power. Pakistan barely struggled to 161, lasting only 41 overs. The Indian bowling was good, but no where near spectacular enough to influence the game directly. What was needed was bad decision making by the Pakistani players, and well, that's what they got. The outcome was never in doubt, and even though India hit a couple of hiccups to fall to 29 for 2, they did what Pakistan couldn't and with Dravid and Yuvraj leading the way, victory in the match and the series was quickly at hand.
